Cone Consulting Group Ltd. (CCG) focused on serving clients in the following areas:
- Software Services including custom application development, database management, reverse engineering software and databases, automation of routine tasks, Access, Word and Excel addins.
CCG is located near Portland, Oregon but has served clients nationwide and is available to assist clients worldwide.
Jeffrey A. Cone is the principal consultant for Cone Consulting Group Ltd. He has over 30 years experience as a Certified Public Accountant. Since 1988, he has used his unique combination of CPA integrity, business and financial knowledge and electronic database management skills in the litigation/adversarial arena and for businesses and other organizations.
His services have included forensic accounting investigations, financial analysis, electronic discovery, database reconstruction, data analysis, damage calculations and attorney deposition preparation.
He has worked extensively with both the Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Access database platforms. He is an experienced programmer with both of these products and also has developed custom applications using Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft VB6.
He has published several articles on programming Access, lectured and taught on developing applications using SQL Server and Access.
He also has written chapters introducing accounting and accounting data discovery issues for a three volume book titled "Electronic Discovery Technologies" offered by Litigation Technology Group, Ltd.
Mr. Cone is an honors graduate from California State Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, receiving a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. He was an auditor for 10 years with what are now Ernst & Young and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He then joined the litigation consulting practice of a CPA firm. In 1992 he became an independent litigation and computer consultant. From 2002 to 2004 he was with Tucker Alan which merged with Navigant Consulting.
